In His Image Ministry

InHisImage Heart White.png

At UALC, every individual, whether able-bodied or differently-abled, is embraced with warmth and recognized as a vital part of God's family. Through In His Image Ministries, we support and equip differently-abled members to partake in church activities, from worship, and service opportunities to Bible studies. Our support also extends to their families, understanding the unique challenges they face. Our goal is to create an environment where every member, regardless of their abilities, feels valued, has access, and a sense of belonging in our church family. Contact: Tonya Riedel

Community Family Retreat

For families with young children

August 23-25  |  Hocking Hills

In the hectic lives we live, and in a church community as large as UALC, it can be difficult to connect with our own family, let alone other members of our church family. That's why we're having our first-ever off-site just for young families.

Join us in a large cabin in the Hocking Hills (about an hour away) and retreat with a few other families with young children (generally pre-kindergarten). You will have time to rest as an individual, spend quality time with your own family, and connect with others also looking for more community in UALC. Includes free childcare and activities during the weekend. Register by June 30. Cost is $500 and includes all meals. (If this is prohibitive, please reach out to Dan Kidd and he has solutions.)
