What is Awana?Awana features games, stories, songs and awards. A little like Scouting, boys and girls earn uniforms to wear to club and work at home with their families in workbooks to learn Bible verses and complete activities. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, from 2 Timothy 2:15. Find out about Awana® International.
What will we do this school year?Families will have the option to participate in-person, virtually, or work on handbooks at home without attending meetings. You can read more about our 2020-2021 plans here. Download the calendars for each club: Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T
Clubs will meet on Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30 pm from Sept. 23, 2020-May 5, 2021.
What are the age groups? We have three clubs:
• Cubbies: Age 3–Pre-K (parents must stay on site). Register here.
• Sparks: Kindergarten-Grade 2. Register here.
• Truth & Training (T&T): Grades 3-6. Register here.
Costs for the year: $30 dues, $15 uniform.
What happens at an Awana meeting?Clubbers play games, recite and discuss Bible verses they have learned, and learn how to live a Christian life. They also earn rewards for dressing in their uniform and for the week’s theme.
How can you help?Be a Hero to our Clubbers—join us Wednesdays as a volunteer! We have many available roles for adults and teen helpers. Training and resources provided.
For more information about our club, email Awana Ministry Leader Kristen Henry.
