Women's Bootcamp

This women's weekend, based on the book 'Captivating' by Stasi and John Eldridge, will provide an opportunity to be refreshed and renewed as the Lord speaks to your heart. You'll hear how your heart matters more than anything else in all creation. The desires you had as a little girl and the longings you still feel are telling you of the life God created you to live. He offers to rescue your heart and release you to live as a fully alive and feminine woman. A woman who is truly captivating. Download the brochure. Cost is $285. How to Prepare a Simple Budget – Workshop

Do you struggle putting together a personal budget? Learn some tools to help you with your budgeting needs in a two-session workshop, taught by Bill Schnupp, leader of the Financial Peace Ministry. Women of the Word (WOW)

Meet, pray, discuss, and grow with other women in your understanding of the Christian faith. Studies are offered throughout the year at Mill Run and Lytham Road. The second Fall study is “A Woman Overwhelmed” by Hayley DiMarco. We all feel overwhelmed at times, often resulting in a variety of unhealthy reactions. In this video-based study, we’ll walk through the biblical account of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and learn to become more overwhelmed by our awesome God than our current difficult circumstances. Fee for the 6-week study is $15, and includes the workbook. Offered at the following times starting the week of Oct. 17:

Renewal

Recommit yourself to be a disciple of Jesus and to disciple others. Weekends consist of group and individual time to meditate, pray, share your story, worship, relax and eat. Held at various times during the year, followed by six months of forming a team to pass along the experience to others The Renewal Weekend is separately structured for men and women. Community Bible Study and Prayer Group 

Would you like company pursuing God? Join our interdenominational, in-depth Bible study and prayer group. This thoughtful study for men and women also provides practice in prayer. Open to all members in the community, so invite friends. Studies offered at various times during the year. Meets on Thursdays, 7:30-8:45 pm at Mill Run. Dates to join: Nov. 2 or Jan. 4. Fee is $19. Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU)

FPU is a nine-week series where you'll learn how to manage your finances and prepare for your future; be it family, education or retirement. In the recent session, families paid off an average of $7,269 of debt (excluding mortgage) and increased their savings by an average of $2,553. Offered at various times during the year. Life Equipping Classes

Work on skills that will enhance your personal relationships and change harmful behaviors. Listening for Heaven's Sake, Renewing the Mind, and Speaking the Truth in Love are offered yearly. Men's Ministries

M2M (Man to Man) helps UALC’s men fulfill their call from God to lead in their homes, church, and community. Weekly Bible studies in neighborhood groups, special training events and outreach. Bridges Seminar: Christians Connecting With Muslims

No longer do we need to travel around the world to be Jesus' witnesses; the world is coming to us right here in Central Ohio. Hilltop Thursday Nights

An ecumenical environment to renew your commitment to Jesus Christ and grow as his disciple. UALC College-Age (18-24 year olds)

A place for newly graduated high schoolers and current college-age students to gather with mentors for encouragement and discipleship.
