Women of the Word (WOW)

Do you worry? Worry, it’s universal. Yet Jesus said, “Don’t worry.” Join us as we listen to Andy Stanley and learn where worry comes from, why it is so difficult to overcome, and what you can do to conquer worry in your life. Sessions start the week of Nov. 6. No registration required, just come, $2 fee.

Life Equipping Classes

Work on skills that will enhance your personal relationships and change harmful behaviors. Listening for Heaven's Sake, Renewing the Mind, and Speaking the Truth in Love are offered yearly. Groups may also schedule teaching at their meeting location. Each class is offered the following days from 7:00-8:30 pm at Mill Run:

Men's Ministries

M2M (Men to Men) helps UALC’s men fulfill their call from God to lead in their homes, church, and community. Weekly Bible studies in neighborhood groups, special training events and outreach. Women's Bootcamp

Join other women and take an opportunity to be refreshed and renewed as the Lord speaks to your heart. This weekend's focus is based on the book "Captivating" by Stasi Eldredge. You'll explore key questions about who God intends you to be and the spiritual battle for your heart. The weekend is at the Eagles Wing Lodge in the Hocking Hills about an hour form Columbus. Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (FPU)

FPU is a nine-week series where you'll learn how to manage your finances and prepare for your future; be it family, education or retirement. In the recent session, families paid off an average of $7,269 of debt (excluding mortgage) and increased their savings by an average of $2,553. Offered throughout the year. Community Bible Study and Prayer Group 

Would you like company pursuing God? Join our interdenominational, in-depth Bible study and prayer group. This thoughtful study for men and women also provides practice in prayer. Discover Your Spiritual Gifts Class

As a believer, each person is an important part of the Body of Christ. God has blessed you with specific spiritual gifts which you are called to use in serving Him and others. Discover Your Spiritual Gifts class will help you identify your spiritual gifts, your personal style and your passions so that you can serve God and others joyfully and enthusiastically following His Will for your life. Renewal

Recommit yourself to be a disciple of Jesus and to disciple others. Weekends consist of group and individual time to meditate, pray, share your story, worship, relax and eat. Held at various times during the year, followed by six months of forming a team to pass along the experience to others The Renewal Weekend is separately structured for men and women. In-Town Mission Trips

Serve with local UALC mission partners like Columbus Dream Center, SON Ministries, Bed Brigade, and others through our monthly daytime mission trips. Announced throughout the year. Upcoming:
Nov. 28: Help sort and pack clothing and other items for an orphanage in Haiti through Eyes Wide Open International. Learn about and pray for the kids through their adopted mother, Nichole. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 10:00 am-12:00 pm, 5000 Arlington Centre Blvd (entrance in back of building).

Progressive Euchre Party

No experience is needed to join our monthly euchre card game. It’s a time of fun and fellowship, and no partner is needed. Meets the fourth Tuesday of the month, 1:00-4:00 pm at Lytham Road. Ministry Time Workshops

Learn more about listening to and hearing the Holy Spirit. Two workshops available:
Ministry Time 101–Healing Prayer
Learn a fresh way to pray, to hear God and to pray for others. If you're interested in being a part of the prayer team on Sunday mornings, this workshop will prepare you. 
Ministry Time 201– The Gift of Prophecy
Jesus said His voice is recognized by His followers. When He wants us to share revelations from Him with others, we can call it prophecy. (Ministry Time 101 is not a prerequisite for this workshop).

Intergenerational Discipling

For parents and grandparents interested in building family strengths across generations, for the purpose of nurturing and discipling children.
