Weekly UALC Prayer Requests

We corporately lift up prayer requests each week. Join us as we come before our Father with petitions and praises. We welcome anyone to join our group who prays regularly for the needs of the church. You can sign up here and receive the weekly prayer request by email.
This week, June 4-June 10, remember to pray for:
• Steve Turnbull; thank God for our new Senior Pastor. Continue to pray for him, wife Amy and children Evangeline and William as they move though a profound change to leave a church family and pull up a home where there are deep roots.
• Vacation Bible School; pray for this week before and all the details and preparations that need to be finished. Especially ask God for children yet to sign up, especially those who have never heard of Jesus. Ministry Leader is Andrea Taphorn.
• Disciple Making; pray for the Leadership and Learning Team as they work together to model and build a disciple making culture. These men and women are working to develop a disciple making path. Team Leader is Joe Valentino.
• College Ministry; pray for newly graduated high schoolers and current college-age students as they gather this summer to grow as followers of Jesus. Team Leader is Pastor David White.
         • Kindway Embark Ministry; pray for this Christian ministry that prepares men who are about to leave prison and re-enter society. Pray for the men to be mentored and to live lives dedicated to the Lord Jesus.
       • Ask the Holy Spirit to teach us to rest in different rhythms of life, like summer.
“The Spirit-filled life is not a special, deluxe edition of Christianity. It is part and parcel of the total plan of God for His people.”  -A. W. Tozer

 Memorial Day Prayer
          • Thank You, God, for all the blessings You has given our nation.
          • Your gifts are abundant and undeserved by us.
          • Forgive us our personal and national sins that shame our country.
          • Come, Holy Spirit, and enlighten us to God’s authority and rule. Bring a mighty revival to turn to You millions of hearts who now live in unbelief.
          • Enable us to diligently protect our freedoms. Guide and lead those in authority with Your good counsel to work with all countries of the world to a lasting peace.  Amen.
“There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer.” -D.A.T. Pierson
Thank you for praying!
