Congregational Meeting Follow-up

Thanks to everyone who came to the Congregational Meeting on Jan. 26. With a unanimous vote, the congregation approved the call of Joe Valentino as Pastor. We are excited for this next chapter in Joe's ministry as Lytham Road Campus Pastor. The Ordination and Installation service will be Sunday, March 8, 2:00 pm at Lytham Road, followed by a reception.

O2 Conference 

UALC is breathing life into Columbus through the ideas of young people! Join this inspiring grassroots effort that’s building new relationships in our community and making an impact on real needs. Learn more at o2conference.org. The March 1 event is open to the public and all ages. Nearly 300 people participated last year. It’s an easy, uplifting way to introduce UALC to a friend or neighbor. TIME WITH GOD

The daily pursuit to grow in your relationship with God takes many shapes and forms. Typically this looks like prayer and time in the Bible but can also include disciplines like fasting, confessing, journaling, simplicity, solitude, and stewarding talents and resources.

GROWTH WORKSHOPS 

Growth workshops propel us forward. Covering a wide-range of topics, they meet us right where we need to mature and prepare us for what’s next in life. Families, individuals and sometimes whole small groups participate in workshops from time to time to carve out space for phase specific growth and faith conversations that may not happen otherwise. 
 
Following Jesus with Your Baby Growth Workshop

Baptism Growth Workshop

Confirmation Capstone Growth Workshop
High School students delve into the foundations of faith, learn practical ways to follow Jesus everyday, and make their faith their own.

My Bible Intermediate Growth Workshop
High School students learn to read and interpret scripture on their own while exploring the different types of writings in the Bible. This workshop follows Confirmation Capstone.

High School Ministry (HSM) Group

HSM Mission Trips

Middle School Ministry (MSM) Group

MSM Winter Retreat

AWANA Clubs®

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

SMALL GROUPS 

A small group is a small band of brothers and sisters in Christ where you can know and be known, love and be loved, care and be cared for, and grow in Christ together. Small groups meet 3-4 times/month all across town. This is the primary experience of Christian community where we live out the “one anothers” of the Bible.

In the event of a Care emergency outside of normal business hours, please call the main church number, 614-451-3736, press 6, and your call will be forwarded to the on-call pastor. If he is unable to answer at that time, please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
