All Saints’ Sunday – Nov. 5

All Saints’ Sunday is the “Memorial Day” of the church year, a day of the heart, when we publicly remember those who have died in Christ and live forever in Heaven. During worship Nov. 5, the names of the departed saints will be read. To submit a name to be read at the service you attend, please complete a card, available at the reception desks, and return by 5:00 pm Monday, Oct. 30. Please fill out one card per person. Allan Willis Anniversary Celebration - Sunday, October 29

Join us for a celebratory concert on Sunday, Oct. 29, 3:00 pm at Lytham Road where we celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, while also celebrating Allan Willis' 40 years on UALC's staff. The program will include: organ pieces by J. S. Bach, Johann Pachelbel, George Shearing, and others; clarinet solos with Denise Spires; flute solos with Dorianne Deitrick; setting of “A Mighty Fortress” by Joel Raney involving Piano/Organ duet (Tim Krock and Allan, and the Sanctuary Choirs conducted by Brian Carlton). A reception follows the concert. Friends and neighbors welcome.

Welcome Shine Wu to our staff as the Mill Run Sanctuary Worship Leader

Shine graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and comes to us having been in various leadership capacities of worship teams and choirs in multiple church and parachurch organizations around Columbus. 

Additions to the FYC Staff

We’re thankful that God has provided skilled and passionate people for the Family, Youth and Children’s (FYC) team. Elizabeth Lake is our new Kids’ Church Manager! She will remain our Nursery Coordinator while taking on this additional role. Bella Gierman and Molly Auseon will be sharing our Children’s Ministry Intern position for the 2017-18 school year. We’re thrilled to have all three investing in the lives of children and their families!

High School Ministry (HSM) Fall Confirmation Capstone

Are you ready to take your faith to the next level and step into the world of adult faith? This memorable experience includes workshops, a weekend retreat, and a ceremony. Radically Refreshing Relationships – Equipping Class

IFI Bible Study and Training

Full Family ESL (English as a Second Language) Program

Friendship Bible Class

Quilt Guild

LIFEwalk Ministries

Celebrate Recovery®

Anyone struggling with life issues such as alcoholism, overeating, codependency, sexual brokenness, or financial problems can find help in this Christian, 12-step program. Prayer Line

UALC members, or anyone who desires prayer for any need or concern, can share a prayer request. All requests are confidential unless instructed otherwise.
