Congregational Meeting 

Plan to attend the regular spring congregational business meeting on Sunday, April 28, 12:00 pm, Lytham Road. This meeting is required by our Constitution to elect these nominees: for the Nominating Committee 2019-21, Rod Borden and Kathy Felty; for Council 2019-22, JD Wylie (Vice-Chair), Robin Lorms, Phil Heveron, Barb Masten and Karen Rogers (one-year term). A light lunch will be served and childcare is available (ages five and under). 

Lent, Holy Week and Easter at UALC

Sacred Art Corner

The Visual Arts Ministry welcomes you to visit our second exhibit “Man of Sorrow, Portraits of Christ in His Passion” on display through April in the Mill Run Library Lane. This special type of imagery, meant for private prayer and meditation, is created by twenty international artists from the modern era. Contact

Carol Choir Musical

Cookies for Kairos Prison Ministry 

Five UALC members will be participating in two Kairos weekends and will need 2,000 dozen home- baked cookies to share the love of Christ with inmates and staff. Chocolate chip cookies are preferred. Place one dozen cookies per resealable plastic bag in the Mill Run or Lytham Road. refrigerators by April 26. Contact Phil Heveron,

60 Years of God’s Faithfulness

Crafting Group

Grands Group

Weekend Retreats

We know that intentional time away from our day to day life focused on the Lord helps us grow in our relationship with Him. Like a vacation with our family, these are times set aside build memories and deepen our relationships with the Lord and His people. Consider one of these retreats: 
Cum Christo Events

Renewal Weekends

Lutheran Social Services (LSS)

Serve Those in Need with LSS 
Serve those in need by filling orders for non-perishable food items at Lutheran Social Services Food Pantry. LSS is dedicated to “creating a better world by serving people in need.” Volunteers help shoppers select food items, make Christian material available, and look for opportunities to pray with shoppers. Christian Materials Needed 
UALC has a parallel ministry at the Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Food Pantries where books and Christian materials are distributed to the shoppers. UALC members have been very generous by donating new or used materials. We now have a specific need for large print Bibles, children’s Bibles, coloring or drawing books, and crayons. Drop off in bins in exchange centers at Lytham Road and Mill Run.  

Quilting Ministry for Missions

Serving Our Neighbors (SON) Ministries Opportunities

Feed the ESL Children
We are in need of snack angels to help make feeding the children God has asked us to serve possible. Individuals, families or small groups are welcome to provide a light meal for the children who attend the Family ESL Program. While parents learn English to improve their employability, their children receive homework help, recreation and enrichment. Meals are needed in April on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. Summer Lunch Camp Help Needed 
As Serving Our Neighbors (SON) Ministries prepares for our thirteenth annual Free Summer Lunch Camp, we need your help to fill the many roles and positions required! Hundreds of children in the Hilliard community participate and are provided a nutritious lunch, fun programming, and the chance to become young entrepreneurs by running their very own restaurant. Small Groups

Small groups are a place to make connections outside of Sunday worship. They provide opportunities to experience new relationships, practice true discipleship and simply live life together. Acts 2:46-47 describes the Fellowship of Believers, which we are called to be a part of. Kids’ Camp 2019
Kids’ Camp is a five-day, four-night journey of faith, friendship and new experiences. Kids will be challenged to grow in their relationship with Jesus and community. The camp is staffed by our own trained crew to ensure a safe and fun week for kids in grades 2-5. UALC members, non-members and friends welcome. July 14-18, Woodland Lakes Christian Camp. $350. Middle School Summer Camp 
We are heading to southern Ohio for a five-day, four- night adventure of a lifetime. This camp experience will be unlike any other! July 18-22, Woodland Lakes Christian Camp. Cost: $350. Registration deadline: July 1.

Following Jesus After Graduation

Thursday Bible Study
Join Pastor Jeff for a study on “Renewing the Mind.” Learn to think, feel, and act more like Jesus by taking every thought captive. In April, we’ll begin a study of Leviticus as it relates to God’s law and holiness. Thursdays, 11:00-11:50 am at Lytham Rd.
Mill Run Adult Sunday School

Have You Tried a Fitness Program? 

Our REFIT® Ministry is going strong. We come, we workout, we pray, we fellowship. This is for women of any age. Our bodies are gifts from God. We are stewards in a sense, so it’s important to take time to care for them. By being fit and healthy, we are also better able to carry out our God-given vocation on earth. Men’s Thursday Night Softball

Men’s Thursday Night Softball league is looking for players age 18 and over. Games are fun but still competitive. Thursdays, May-August. $40. Contact Roy Bobbitt, 

Co-Ed Softball

Christian Yoga Flow

This flow style class links breath to movement and includes standing, balancing, seated and reclined poses, with the goal of giving your entire body attention while cultivating strength and openness in an environment that supports all abilities. New Security Team

UALC is pleased to announce that our plain clothes security teams are trained and in place at both campuses. Our teams will consist of armed and unarmed volunteers who have been carefully selected and vetted. They will be trained to respond to all security and safety issues that may occur at our buildings. Please pray for God’s wisdom and guidance to lead our security team members as they embark on the task of protecting our congregation. Contact Security Director Bob White,
